The Who

Founder of Thrive Agronomics, Eric Wilson, got his start in the farming industry as a young child where he was raise on a 1500-acre crop farm. Taking his love for plants, business, and helping other farmers, he is still actively involved in farming and completed his BS in Agronomy from Iowa State University in 2010. Shortly after, he was accepted into Purdue University where he received his MS in Agronomy in 2012. Since then, he has been working towards the completion of a PhD in Crop Production and physiology from the University of Minnesota. Dedicating his life to agriculture, he has set out to help other farmers increase their production and make their farming practices more efficient.

Based out of Algona, Iowa, we understand the area’s soil better than anyone. Iowa farmers trust us to manage their farms because they know we aren’t just a business churning out cookie cutter methods. We know the soil in this area, have practiced for decades on it, and can help you discover things about your soil, farm, and crops that you never knew existed with customized methods that are specific to your farm and your state.
